Potential Impacts
The greatest local impact from this storm system will be widespread rainfall as the system moves slowly across the area, with storm total amounts today through Thursday night of 1-3 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible, especially across northeast Florida tonight and Thursday, which may cause temporary flooding problems.
There is a chance of a few strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening across SE Georgia and the Suwannee River Valley. The threat of severe storms decreases late tonight, with mainly a widespread cold rainfall expected Thursday.
Strong southerly flow over the offshore waters will bring marginal Small Craft Advisory conditions today & tonight. A stronger and more persistent Small Craft event is expected late Thursday through the weekend.
