A Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Instructor course will be taught in a two-day session July 30 th  and 31st from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Bulloch County EMA, located at 17245 US Highway 301 North, in Statesboro, Georgia.
This course is open to all counties interested in sending potential CERT Trainers, however space is limited.  Students will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
The Instructor sessions provide an accurate way of teaching the materials to those who may not specialize in emergency response or disaster preparedness.  This class is recommended to highly skilled fire or rescue specialists, law enforcement personnel, licensed and certified paramedics, emergency medical technicians, and nurses. This will be GEMA’s first Train the Trainer Course based on the updated CERT Curriculum.
