Strong to Severe Thunderstorms Update

Today January 21, 2017 Situation Overview

1. There is a potential of severe weather to move into SE Georgia and into the Suwannee Valley by this afternoon with our 1st round of thunderstorms; approaching the I-10 corridor in Northeast Florida through this evening.
2. Discrete Supercells and a squall line are feasible with this 1st round with possible isolated tornadoes, very large hail, and damaging wind gusts.
3. There is moderate confidence that scattered to numerous severe storms will move through the aforementioned areas this afternoon.
